PUBLIC NOTICE
ADVERTISEMENT FOR SALE OF SURPLUS VEHICLE
The City of Cottondale will accept written, sealed bids for the sale of a 2015 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor vehicle with 66,976 miles, with a minimum bid of $4,500. Vehicle runs well but has a slight exhaust leak. Photos may be viewed online at www.cityofcottondale.net. Sealed bids must be submitted to City Hall by 10:00 a.m. on April 24th using a bid form provided by the City. A bid opening will follow at 10:15 a.m. at the same location. Bid award will be made to the highest bidder. The Notice of Award will be issued, and payment in full must be received within seven (7) business days from the date of the Notice of Award.
The City of Cottondale reserves the right to re-advertise if only one bid is received.
Payment will be accepted only via cash or certified check made payable to the City of Cottondale. Bidders are required to provide a contact phone number and email, as the Notice of Award will be issued promptly.
The vehicle will be sold AS IS. The vehicle must be removed from the premises within seven (7) business days from the date of the Notice of Award, or payment may be forfeited. Once payment is made, the sale is final, and no refunds or returns will be allowed.
